Re: Missouri House Bill 1276
With bills like this one now increasing in number I have a feeling that if the NCSE is still around for another year then they're going to be kept busy. Their biggest problem now is they too only helped the Discovery Institute get a foot in the door of a market they are already set to saturate with their ready-to-go books.
Due to the length of the theory Matti (editor in chief) at Bio-Complexity who reviewed it said that should be published as a book, not a journal article, and I have to agree because that has always been my opinion too. But with the way things are going I don’t see that happening. From experience I already learned that self-learners with no title like “Ph.D.” or “Dr.” are normally rejected by major science book publishers, and you know what the theory now has to be titled. I can’t afford to self-publish, but can print all the saddle-stitched books I need at the printshop where I work, but then what do I do with them? I’m not a school-book publisher. I could try going from district to district but can’t afford luxuries like a car or even a lawnmower right now, but the good news there is I won’t need one when the foreclosure mill shows up to kick us off the property for squatting.
Even though I do not even know where to begin, I’m still going to do what I can. But because of circumstances beyond my control and only setbacks from the great protectors of science who should have years ago listened to me when I told them this was going to happen, the mess made of everything is now your/their damn problem now. And I see no way to fight back because too many people including university level scientists are also steaming mad from being humiliated by vigilantes who insulted the hell out of almost everyone on the planet with their anti-theist bullying. The new bills now being introduced in the states is how they are putting the bullies in their place.
Oh, and hi Dagny! You sure have perfect timing, too...
