Post Florida TV Station report - Ministers coming out as atheists
2 videos - one from Local FL TV station (the audio is not working for some reason) and the other one from the 2012 Atheist convention.

Local Minister Steps Down, Says She's An Atheist

Thats one reason the church has always had problems; people who didn't really believe and were just in it for power or money rose to power.

I thinks its a good thing that they are coming out and exposing themselves; there is a major local church where this is going to happen soon.

Henry for the win!

I doubt a sign like this can be put up at any church. Most likely it came from the Church sign generator web site. But a fascinating concept to ponder. On the other hand, maybe it's a liberal church. May the Force be with them.

This preacher will have a hard time backing up the sign with scripture.

ABO,

If the pastor quotes you some scriptures to back up the sign, what are you going to say?

Why don't you give the pastor of the church a call and find out? Keep us posted. Should be fun.

We need have this on video - battle of Christian wits. Should be fun.

You're the self anointed genius here, why don't you back it up with scripture.

And how would you know if this preacher is a Christian?

ABO....And how would you know if this preacher is a Christian?

I just have to take him at his word. Just like you, ABO, that you are a Christian. Or are you saying nobody can be sure you are a Christian? We can only take people at what they claim they are. Until they swear and sign in blood they are pagans, one has to assume that the preacher of his particular church is a Christian.

Since you are harboring some doubts about him being a Christian, maybe you should also have some doubts that the god you claim is the only true god is not the only true god? And that maybe the scriptures were "inspired divinely" by a telepathic force of the only true god who is just running an experiment on Christians to see if they can put 2 and 2 together and will send them to hell instead of heaven and atheists will all go to heaven? Since it seems you may have doubts, have you thought about the "trickster" god? Seriously, can you disprove it? He has created all the universe, he just is running a test on the religious people to see how far they can go and take the subjective reality?

ABO, it's really easy to see if he is a Christian as he claims to be. Call him? His name is on the sign and the site and the church's phone number. I am sure he'll have some quotes from the Bible for you. Cannot wait.

Objective Reality strikes back at ABO. Cannot wait for the scriptures you'll share with him to prove him wrong and he as a pastor will share with you. Should be fun. Do tell, though?

I have a hard time believing you're as stupid as you pretend to be.
I didn't say the preacher wasn't a Christian. I said how would you know he was a Christian. Going by your garble you've got to be one most biblically ignorant people here. It would be pure stupidity to seriously considering any opinion you might have about the bible, Christianity or God. You're so full of yourself you can't even carry on a conversation.

The sign 'God prefers kind atheists over hateful christians' is not bibical. If you can show that it is biblical, please enlighten us.

ABO,

Take it up with the minister, for Pete's sake. I am fine with his interpretation of the Bible. You apparently are not. You may want to cross your Biblical sword with him to test your Christian wits? It seems like you are just itching for a Biblical verses fight? I did not put up the sign, the minister/church did. The phone number is on the sign. Find the local area code and call Pastor Tom? How many times do I need to tell you - practice Objective Reality.

As for what's Biblical and not, bat is a bird in the OT - it's Biblical. However, bat is not a bird, but mammal. This is Objective Reality. Good luck crossing your Biblical sword with Objective Reality.

Let me also bring up the city of Tyre. According to God's infallible word - the city of Tyre was supposed to be demolished and no stone left and the city never rebuilt - EVER. Check out if the city has ever been completely destroyed and if the city is still in existence. Of course, it's never been rebuilt - this is Biblical. Yet it has never been destroyed, so no stone was left on a stone. This is Objective Reality. Your God's infallible word did not pan out as he described. The prophesy of the Lord has not been fulfilled. It maybe fulfilled in let's say a gazillion of years. Then it would be Biblical, but this is not what is talked about in the OT.

As for how I know the pastor was Christian? First off, he's a pastor at a Christian church. He apparently has put up a sign claiming god is cool with cool atheists, so unless you can disprove the pastor is not a Christian Objective Reality points to him being Christian.

It appears, ABO, you are dead sure your Biblical interpretation is the only true one? Maybe you need to give a call to Pastor Tom? - he may have another "true" interpretation? After all Biblical Truth is the only one out there, isn't it? Has it occurred to you that yours maybe wrong? Just wondering?

ABO, you are getting somewhat disfunctional and incoherent in your comments. I am sorry that simple facts of Objective Reality are giving you trouble.

Let me give you some homework - WHAT WOULD CONVINCE YOU THE PASTOR IS NOT A
CHRISTIAN? And task #2 - WHAT WOULD CONVINCE YOU THAT THE PASTOR IS CHRISTIAN.

It should be fun reading the next installment from you. Sleep on it.

Give us all a favor? - call Pastor Tom tomorrow? Keep us posted. Cannot wait for the verses you'll discuss with him.

I know you insist on getting your information from liars, frauds, atheist and those who believe their ancestors were worms, but you've got to take a break and check this stuff out for yourself. You're going to loose your overrated stranger on the white horse status.

Tyre in Prophecy

http://www.apologeticspress.org/apconte ... ticle=1790
http://www.biblestudymanuals.net/ez26.htm

Bats
Around 3500 years ago birds were categorized by because of their similarities, they could fly, they had wings, they ate bugs and so on.

Here's a test , lets pretend you lived 3500 years ago or even a hundred years before our modern system of animal classification.

You see a whale in the ocean. What would you call it?

1. a bat
2. a frog.
3. a mutated ape like creature
4. a fish
5. Jimmy Carter

I have serious doubts you'll be able to successfully complete this test.
