On Thursday, November 16, at 7:30 p.m., Eugenie C. Scott, Executive Director of the National Center for Science Education, will give a talk on “Faith, Reason, and Assumption in Understanding the Natural World.”  Dr. Scott will speak at the Kansas Union Ballroom at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. KCFS Annual Meeting

On Sunday, November 19, at 2:00 p.m., the annual meeting of Kansas
Citizens For Science will be held at the Topeka Public Library. Check
directory in the lobby to locate the meeting room. Anyone who is a
member, was a member, or wishes to become a member or renew membership, is invited to attend. Board members will be elected, and President Jack Krebs will give a brief look back at KCFS accomplishments in 2006 and outline goals for KCFS in 2007 and beyond.
